When I first created Artemiss Lashes, I wanted the name to have a significant meaning to who I am. My grandparents helped raise my brother and me. Hence, much of our upbringing is because of them. I learned some of life's best values from my (Tatay) grandpa and it wasn't until after he passed, I saw the impact of his work. With the time he was given on this earth, he had helped so many people and had sheltered all walks of life.

To honor my Tatay, I decided to name this craft after him. My Tatay's name was Artemio, but "Artemio Lashes". just didn't sit right with me.  I went through 3 name changes before I decided to look up the Greek origin of my Tatay's name.

Artemio in Greek is Artemes. The meaning of Artemes is whole and perfect. From that moment onwards I just knew. Artemes went to Artemiss, And Artemiss Lashes was born.
